Grey's Anatomy: "I Saw What I Saw" (06x06)

This episode of Grey's was different than the other episodes this season. First of all, it was told in retrospective. The first few minutes were all the doctors in front of a room where the Chief interviewed them and we got to know that a patient died. And then the Chief interviewed each and every one and tried to find out who was the one responsible for the mistake. I really, really liked this episode. It was so dramatic and I was always anxious to know what happened. I kinda figured that someone from Mercy West would get fired (Thank God!) but couldn't figure out, who. It was one of the girls and I can't really remember her name, but really didn't like her.

What happened? There was a fire and so there were multiple victims. A woman who came in with her son (the kid who played Jack, Dr. Cox's son on Scrubs, cute), a firefighter with an axe in his head and a kid with burn injuries. Because everyone is on probation, they all try to help, but safe their jobs. But there are also other problems: Alex is preoccupied because he's trying to reach Izzie. But just when he reaches her, he has to hang up because he has a patient. Lexie on the other hand can't stand the screaming kid with the burn injuries and has to leave the room. Christina is trying to be useful and Meredith is still the center where everyone meets to escape the Mercy Wester's. But she doesn't know anything about what happens outside and Bailey isn't talking to her. instead she's sending her home.

But what happened that got the girl fired? Well, the woman with the child was getting worse and needed to be inturbated. Everyone was afraid to make mistakes, but in the end, the girl made a minor mistake (not looking in her throat because she was looking at the man with the axe). The Chief had to fire eher. And then there was the most compelling scene of all: The Chief and Derek in a room. Derek told him who was really responsible for the mistake: Richard. he's been pressurizing his employees and mistakes just happened. It was beautifull done.

All in all, as I already said, I loved this episode. It was different and interesting. Only flaw: Would have been better without the Mercy Westers. But that's because I can't stand them.

Best Moment: Derek and Richard
Weirdest Moment: The axe in the guy's head.
