How I met your Mother: "Robin 101" (05x03)

This season proves to be a very good one, but I have to say that this episode wasn't as good as I imagined. I don't know why, but I somehow didn't feel it.
The main storyline was Robin finding a book about her in Barney's briefcase and she discovered that Barney was taking a course called Robin 101 i.e. Ted telling him all about Robin so he could be a better boyfriend. It was kinda funny to see him before and after the course: He was trying to jump out the window or not being there when Robin was sad (Although I think he would be there for her; he was there for her when her boxfriend dumped her again). And I loved Ted as the teacher and Barney as a student. Braney kept repeating "Can we have class outside", which was very funny and Ted's facts about Robin were pretty funny. The thing with the Emperor penguins or the angry look was hilarious. When Robin found out about it, she went to the class (where there was also a Chinese student auditing) and had exactly that look on her face. She was pretty pissed and left. She then talked with Ted about the class who told her he enjoyed telling stuff about her to someone else who could use it and that Barney never worked so hard at keeping a woman around (*Cute*). She then reconciled with Barney, telling him "You're an idiot" (i.e. I love you) and he got rid of the Robin book. Well, it was somehow stolen, I guess it will resurface again ;) I really loved the storyline and up to now, I think they really do well with the Barney-Robin relationship.
The subplot was the thing that bothered me. I know sitcoms sometimes have silly humour and a lot of classic Friends episodes deal with ridiculous storylines (Fireball, trying to poke ugly naked guy, the chik and the duck). But somehow Marshall's obsession with Mable the barrel was too much for me. I don't know, it somehow wasn't as funny as it could have been. The funniest moment was probably the last scene where he told Barney and Robin to get inside because the were scaring off possible barrel-takers. But other than that, it was medium.
All in all, I liked this episode, except for Marshall's storyline and I hope that next week's episode will be a little bit funnier. I loved the last two episodes, so I hope the next one is going to be as great as the last ones.

Best Moment: Either Robin's "You're an idiot" (= I love you) or the thumbs up of Robin and Barney to Marshall ("It might not have been a thumbs up")
Weirdest Moment: The whole storyline with Marshall and the barrel was pretty weird. But also very funny.
Favourite Quote:
Barney: "I like my testicles attached to my body instead of them rolling around next to some eyeliner in Robin's purse. Stinson out."
Current Mood: Tired, been working all day
