This week's episode of House was really funny and kind of unexpected.
The patient this week was a young football player who started hitting himself with his helmet. The main problem: The young boy really wanted to play in a game because there were going to be scouts and he saw this as his only chance. He kept getting worse and worse, but still wanted to play, so Foreman drugged him to keep him in the hospital. Finally, it turned out that the boy had skin cancer, very unusal for African-Americans, but treatable.
Why did Foreman drug the boy? Well, perhaps he felt responsible for him. He also felt responsible for his brother Marcus who was out of prison. House gave him a job, which pissed Foreman off, but forced them to work together. On the surface, House saw this as an oportunity to spy on Foreman but Wilson (and I agree) was sure that House just wanted them to have a better relationship. Therefore, House behaved more like a jerk than ever and forced Foreman and Marcus to bond together by hating him. good plan and it worked. Although I was shocked House would really use Foreman's mother's death like that, it turned out to be necessary.
Meanwhile, Wilson and House were pranking each other as usual. Or were they? An oppossum in a bathtub, a bathtub railing and the fire-alarm: After a while, House and Wilson knew that they were pranked by someone else. And by whom? Well, Lucas. I don't like him anymore, did I mention that. But he was kinda right, as House and Wilson stole the appartment from Cuddy and Lucas. Eventually, she was even the one who was behind it all as she was mad. And hurt.
All in all, this was a funny episode with an okay case. I loved the whole oppossum thing and the fire alarm. Funny stuff. I'm so looking forward to next week as it will focus on Cuddy.
Best Moment: The oppossum.
Weirdest Moment: Lucas (and Cuddy) would actually physically hurt House
Favourite Moment:
House: "Vietnam? How old do you think I am?"
Patient: "I don't know. Vietnam-age?"
Current mood: Great
