You're a brick...house....Mighty, mighty

Have you ever realized how people aren't able to clap their hands according to a certain rhythm? I don't mean one or two or even ten people, but I'm talking about a group of people who just isn't able to clap their hands right. I know you're excited but if you're just going to clap your hands like a bunch of maniacs you might as well don't do it. And I would be able to listen to the music in peace.
Having said that I probably should have told you at first that I just came back from a concert and it was pretty good. Good old-fashioned Rock music. I went there with one of my best friends and her boyfriend and had a pretty good time. But let me tell you something: Hanging out with a couple as a single person is not necessarily the best thing you can do. I only did it because I haven't seen my friend for two weeks, but usually I try to avoid being alone with a happy, happy couple. It's just awkward for everyone: Your friend has to pay attention to you and her boyfriend; the boyfriend maybe wants to be alone with his girlfriend and you're trying to overlook those overly sweet couple-things they do....

The main reason I'm blogging now is because I just realized again how hopelessly addicted I am. The band played many good song and I knew most of them just from listening to the radio. But there were two songs I only knew because they were mentioned or played in TV shows.

The first one was "You can't always get what you want" by the Rolling Stones and of course I instantly thought of House. It's one of the songs that plays an important role in the show and has already been played or quoted four times. And it's also just a fantastic song.
This video is from the season 1 finale in which the song was used for the second time and in my opinion it's the best of the four scenes.

The second song was "Brick House" by the Commodores and I suddenly remembered Niles in "The Nanny" saying "You're a brick...house....mighty mighty" to Mister Sheffield when he asks Niles if he's an attractive man. In my opinion this was one of the best scenes on this show and I had to laugh so hard the first time I saw it. Niles is so serious that it's even more hilarious.
