Grey's Anatomy has always been some kind of guilty pleasure for me and I really love it. I fell in love with Meredith and Derek love story, I like the characters very much and I'm usually pretty happy about the episodes. But this episode wasn't my favourite one so far and there are several reasons.
But from the top: The episode is about relationships, friendship and loyalty. And the first relationship that is getting tested is Meredith's and Christina's. Sadie, Meredith's old best friend is a new intern at Seattle Grace and Christina isn't very happy about it. Sadie is a little bit different than the other interns, a little bit wilder and a little bit cheekier. She talks although she isn't asked and she cuts open her back so the other interns can stitch it up again - for practice. All in all, she's quite unique.
Complaint Nr.1: I'm not yet happy about this new character and she seems almost a little to obviously different and unique for me. Let's see if I get used to her, I don't like Hahn at the beginning either.
One of the patients of the week is a homeless guy who slept in a garbage can and somehow got hurt by the garbage truck machinery. He's absolutely devastated when he finds out that he might lose his leg and refuses getting surgery. New doc Owen Hunt grants his wishes and Marc and Derek tell him to go back to the desert if he can't handle patients right. Callie finally finds a away to build parts of the leg out of titanium and the homeless man goes to surgery. Unfortunately, he dies and Callie has break-down, mainly because she was left by Hahn in the previous episode. (By the way: Sara Ramirez did a great job in this scene)
Complaint Nr.2: The sudden disappearance of Hahn. Although I didn't like the whole Callie/Hahn story at first , I got used to it and thought that this sudden break-up was forced and perhaps mostly motivated by the network.
The other patient is Native American who lives with a donor heart but he wants to get rid of it because he feels haunted by the donor's spirit. And he's not the only one who feels haunted: Since last episode Izzie is haunted by Denny who talks to her and wants her to touch him, so she believes he is real. Alex is very sweet and he tries to help her, even by burning Denny's old sweat shirt, but Denny won't leave.
Almost-Complaint Nr.3: I'm not quite sure what to think of this Denny story. I really loved how the Izzie-Alex thing was going and I don't really see this ghost-story playing out well. it's just a little bit too much, even for Grey's Anatomy. It's not a show about ghosts or supernatural things; it's about medicine. On the other hand: I always liked Denny and it's kinda sweet. Let's see...
I almost forgot that there's another new doctor at the hospital: Virginia Dixon. She has Aspergers syndrom, a mild form of Autism and is slightly strange. She has problems communicating with other people but is an extraordinary surgeon. I kinda liked her and I'd really like to see how she gets along in this hospital where "communicating with other people" or "having relationships with your colleagues" is the main thing they all do.

All in all: Decent episode with a lot of new people and things that aren't exactly how I want them to be. But I'm not giving up on Grey's because they always manage to turn things round when you least expect it.
Best Moment: Owen and Christina kiss in an alley. It was so hot, I had butterflies in my tummy. They are pretty much perfect for each other and have incredible chemistry. I also loved the first scene when Owen was helping Christina with her coat.
Weirdest Moment: Izzie touches Denny. Are they really going to have relationship between a human and a ghost? Spoilers indicate it (Link)
Favourite Quote: Meredith suddenly gets protective of Lexie.
Meredith (to Derek): "I need you to tell Mark to keep his little Sloan out of little Grey."
"These ties that bind" - Promo
