WTF!? No Emmys for me!

I kinda hate Germany right now. Not only do I have to suffer because we have the most boring election ever (both parties are practically saying the same things) and I don't get the season premiere of Gossip Girl tonight but some time tommorow; no, that's not enough: I just discovered that no TV network is going to broadcast the 2009 Emmy Awards. Well, it's on on a pay TV channel, but I don't get it.
Why, oh why? I get it: Not many people watch these things but they broadcasted it last year and I enjoyed it very much. It was on from 2am - 5am and I didn't get any sleep on a school night, but who cares. I can live with that. I gladly live with that. But this year they don't even broadcast it. It probably won't be even mentioned except when some show that is on here wins something.
But I so wanna see it: Neil Patrick Harris is hosting and I love him. And this year, a lot of my shows are nominated. And I bet Hugh Laurie wins an Emmy this year. he was the main reason I watched last year.
Well, I can't change it. I will just have to stay away from all my usual sites on Monday until someone posts it online. I hope someone does....
God, I hate German TV today.
