Yeah, Blair's mom is back. I love episodes with her and I miss her. I also love the on-going mystery about Chuck's mother. But from the top.
Dan and Vanessa: Do they always get their own little storylines now? Cuz if that means they're away from the main-cast, I'm fine with that^^ No, okay, I really like Dan, but Vanessa keeps bugging me. This week, she was worried that they were stuck in a rut and that they needed to do more couple-y things. Dan didn't understand it, Rufus didn't understand it and eventually nothing changed. They're still eating take-out-dinners and they're still kinda boring. Also, a little bit cute. But I could understand Dan: Why did everything have to change? I'd love if my boyfriend was my best friend. That kind of trust is really rare.
Blair, Jenny, Eleanor Waldorf: Rufus decided to let his daughter go to Eleanor Waldorf's fashion show and help out. Eleanor totally forgave her for ruining her show back in season 2 and Jenny was happy for the first time. But then she met Agnes with whom she once wanted to start a business. Agness seemed to have forgiven her, but she took Damien's pills form her behind her back and slipped Jenny some. The fashion show was a success, but Jenny couldn't enjoy it: The pills were starting to work and Jenny was really high/drunk. Agnes took her to a bar and just left her there and she would have probably been raped if Nate hadn't come and rescued her. Brave Nate. Jenny was devastated but Eleanor wanted her to work for her, so there's a silver lining. Meanwhile, Blair tried to forget Chuck's problems by helping her mother. Her mother wanted to go commercial and so she asked Blair to bring friends from college, which she didn't have, of course. So, Blair hired hookers, which backfired as the buyer recognized one of the escorts. A male one. Blair blackmailed him, but it was all for nothing as her mother decided to not do the deal after all. But Blair learned something new: At Columbia, they all know who she are. So, I guess, that will be her new goal now? Would be great to see that as Blair is just miserable at NYU and we need our Queen B.
Chuck and Blair: Oooh, desperate moody Chuck is back and he wants revenge. Love it. But from the beginning: Right at the start of the episode, Chuck found out that his mother was is some sort of conspiracy with Jack and tried to convince her to leave him and work with her. But Elizabeth loved Jack (really???) and wanted to stay with him. Nate and Serena's "brilliant" plan of catching Jack sleeping with two hookers didn't go well either, so Chuck pleaded with his mother one last time. But she told him that she had already signed the hotel over to Jack and was going to leave him. She also told him that she wasn't his real mother which he gladly believed. However, it then turned out that she was in fact his real mother, but also in love with jack and was going to leave, leaving poor Chuck behind. Cut to the last scene: Moody Chuck is back and he's pissed. He's also plotting revenge with Blair. This is going to be fun.
All in all, it was a pretty good episode, although I was a little annoyed by Jenny. As always.
Best Moment:
Dorota: "Baby beat Dorota's stomach like Lars from Metallica"
Weirdest Moment: Some ladies have it all (Picture of Nate and Serena...) Yeah, Jenny and my best friend's sister thinks so, too. Me, not so much-
Favourite Quote:
Chuck: "What is this leech doing stuck to my hotel?"
