The winter hiatus of Bones was sooo long, but now it's finally back! And I'm so freaking excited, especially because the 100th episode is next week.
But this week, the 99th episode was on and this was also a great episode. The episode had an interesting beginning: Sweets was sitting in the subway next to a young man who got a phone call. He then shared that he was finally cancerfree and that he could start living now. Just moments later, the train derailed, the boy hit his head and died. Sweets was shocked and struggled with this experience. It was interesting and moving to see him struggle with this and I loved that he didn't decide to break up with Daisy (which she worried about) but proposed to her. So cute! I hope they really fo through with it, they're an adorable couple.
But that was just one story that was told this week. The main storyline was what happened when the train derailed: It had derailed because there was a big flood and this flood uncovered the body of a professional ghost writer. Brennan and Booth tried to find out who murdered the blind writer and they soon discovered he had been writing love letters for a man who just wanted to screw with the girl he was writing the letters to. They suspected the writer could have been in love with that woman, but eventually, it turned out that the woman actually killed the writer because she found out that the letters were fake and she left her boyfriend because of them.
The third storyline was actually the best one: Bones' new novel had been published and a reporter was following her around and asked her some questions. And as many fans of the series Bones, the reporter mainly seemed to care about the relationship of Brennan's character Kathy Reichs. Loved that they talked about two guys the character has named Andy and Ryan (the main love interest in the novels is called Andrew Ryan btw). Well, there was a lot of talk about some stuff on page 187 and it turned out that Angela was the one responsible for most of the "juicy stuff". And finally, Booth and Brennan talked about soulmates - which they so obviously are.
All in all, I enjoyed this episode. It was a pretty standard episode with some nice moments. Can't wait for next week.
Best Moment: Hodgins all proud that his "move" was in the book.
Weirdest Moment: The reporter was kinda weird and a little annoying.

Brennan: "Aha, we got you, dirtbag."
