Bones (9/23) (Season 6)

I just realised Bones premieres one week later than last year. And after that finale? Mean, mean, mean. This is probably the show I’m looking forward to the most. Except for House.

Where were we?

In an interesting although very sad finale, the team split up. Booth went to Afghanistan to train soldiers, Brennan went to an island to look at some very important bones. Daisy went with Brennan and split up with Sweets who stayed at home. Angela and Hodgins decided to spend a year in Paris because they didn’t want to train a new FBI agent and a new forensic anthropologist. Booth and Brennan told each other they’d meet “one year from today”, but before all this happened, Booth had already decided he needed to move on and Brennan was unhappy in her job.

What’s next? (SPOILER ALERT)

• The team will reunite to help Cam whose job is in danger – after only 7 months
• Brennan has apparently not been successful and has “left Booth for nothing”
• Booth has “fallen in love” in Afghanistan, with a journalist who will come to visit him
• Angela and Hodgins are expecting a baby (YEAH!!!)
• Everyone’s hair has changed :)
• Booth and Brennan will meet up at the fountain and they haven’t seen or heard from each other all year
• There’s an unexpected twist

My Predictions (aka. Wild Guesses)

Bones is always a little hard, but I’ll try. Angela and Hodgins will be pregnant most of the season and get their baby in May Sweeps. They’ll fight and make up a lot. Cam will finally get a boyfriend but before that she has major problems in her job as her department was unproductive for 7 months. She’ll be pretty pissed everyone has left her. Sweets and Daisy will reunite November Sweeps and break up again. For good. Booth will flirt with his journalist for some time, a few weeks. Brennan will be jealous, but not on the surface. She’ll tell him that she’s okay. Then something will happen that will bring them closer together and they’ll share a kiss. A lot of drama will ensue and Booth will break up with the journalist. And they’ll get together in the season finale. Okay, now I have drifted off to fan fiction, but that could happen. Or they will just play cat and mouse for the whole season and nothing will change. Which would be very annoying.

My wishes for season 6:

• I think this could be the year for Booth and Brennan. Please??? On the other hand, I say that every year
• A lot of Hodgins-Angela-baby stories. I love them and this will be so cute
• Get Cam a boyfriend. The gynaecologist was kinda perfect
• Sweets and Daisy should reunite and then break up for good. I don’t think they belong together.
• A lot of grisly, gruesome murders
• And please don’t drag out that journalist story too long
