Gossip Girl (9/13) (Season 4)

Where did the summer go? In a week, Gossip Girl will return as the first of my shows. Last season has been mixed, so I'm hoping this will be a good year. As last year (LINK), here are my thoughts:

Where were we?

In a shocking season 3 finale, Gossip Girl turned every storyline upside down. Serena kissed Dan although she had feelings for Nate and fled to Paris with Blair. Chuck and Blair had split up because Chuck slept with Jenny because he thought Blair wouldn’t forgive him. Devastated, Jenny left town. Dan, who had split up with Vanessa, was in for a surprise when Georgina suddenly arrived – with a baby bump. And it’s supposed to be Dan’s. While Blair and Serena left for Paris, Chuck wanted to drown his sorrows and got mugged somewhere in Eastern Europe. He was shot defending the engagement ring he wanted to give Blair and fell to the ground – presumably dead.

What’s next? (SPOILER ALERT)

• Dan plays baby-daddy for Georgina’s and his baby, but it’s probably not his
  Vanessa will return (We’ve all been waiting for this…)
• Serena and Blair spent their summer in Paris. Blair doesn’t know that Chuck got shot and Serena can’t decide whether she loves Dan or Nate. And she’s been sleeping with a lot of boys in Paris.
• Nate also slept with a lot of … girls. He meets a girl names Juliet who has an evil plan.
• Chuck is alive and has met a girl. He is surprised to meet Blair in Paris. He wants to change his life and not be Chuck Bass.
  
  
  My Predictions (aka. Wild Guesses)

Chuck and Blair will stay apart fort he first half of the season. They will probably sleep together but they can’t trust each other. He won’t tell her he has been shot. Somewhere mid-season they will get closer and closer and reunite at the end of this season. Dan will get back together with Vanessa. The baby will not be his. Georgina leaves. Jenny returns for some time and leaves again. Nate will still want Serena, but Serena won’t want him. That Juliet character will disappear after a few episodes.

My wishes for season 4:

• Please get Chuck and Blair together again some time before Winter Hiatus. Pretty pretty please?
• Jenny and Vanessa should just stay away for some time. It’s so much better without them
• Blair as the new Queen B in Columbia
• More Eric Storylines
• Just let Serena stay single. She’s not a couple person
• An interesting Georgina storyline
• Generally: A lot of fun and good stories
