After last week's premiere of GOssip Girl, this week has 9 (!) of my shows returning. I'm so thrilled but also a little scared: Is this going to work?
Monday: How I met your Mother: "Big Days" (06x01)
When Ted and Barney argue about who has "dibs" on a hot girl, Ted realizes that she is there with Cindy, a girl he previously dated who is also the roommate of his future wife. Meanwhile, Robin is heartbroken over Don, and Marshall can't keep quiet about his desire to start a family.
Monday: Gossip Girl: "Double Identity" (04x02)
Living out a real-life fairytale in Paris, Blair is pursued by a handsome young man, Louis, who she suspects is a member of Monaco's royal family. A very concerned Lily asks Serena to help her find Chuck, who hasn't been heard from or seen in months. Meanwhile, Chuck Bass is as we've never seen him before, adjusting to a fresh start in Paris with a mysterious new woman, Eva, at his side. Juliet offers to help Nate win Serena back, suggesting that reigniting Dan and Vanessa's romance may just be the trick to remove Dan from the Dan-Serena-Nate love triangle.
Monday: House: "Now What?" (07x01)
In the aftermath of last season’s emotional finale in which House and Cuddy admitted they had feelings for each other, as Season Seven begins, they are exploring the ramifications of those feelings and attempting to make a real relationship work. Meanwhile, due to a colleague’s illness, Princeton Plainsboro is left without a neurosurgeon on site, threatening the hospital’s accreditation as a Level 1 Trauma Center. As the team attempts treatment to get their sick colleague back to work, they discover there is more to the illness than they originally suspected and turn to House for direction. Instead, House remains elusive, leaving the team on its own.
Monday: Chuck: "Chuck vs. the Anniversary" (04x01)
Chuck and Morgan go on a rogue globe-spanning mission to find Chuck’s mom. Meanwhile, Sarah and Casey follow a trail to Russia as they investigate the mysterious Volkoff Industries and its operative, Marco. Back at home, Ellie delivers big news to her family.
Monday: Castle: "A Deadly Affair" (03x01)
When the new season of "Castle" begins, Beckett hasn't heard from Castle since he left for the Hamptons months ago to finish writing his second Nikki Heat novel, "Naked Heat". The most Beckett, Ryan and Esposito have seen of Castle is a bookstore standee of him advertising an upcoming book signing. So when Beckett and her team burst into a shadowy apartment on the trail of a murderer, the last thing they expect to see is the real-life Castle standing over a dead woman's body holding a gun! As Castle protests his innocence, Beckett has no choice but to arrest him on suspicion of murder.
Thursday: Bones: "Mastodon in the Room" (06x01)
With Cam’s reputation and career on the line, the team travels from overseas to help her solve the case of an unidentified young boy. The Forensics Anthropology Unit lost much of its vigor after disbanding to pursue personal ventures, and it will take the collaborative energy and knowledge of the newly reunited team to unravel evidence and find closure for the family of the unknown boy. After unearthing new clues in the lab and making unexpected personal discoveries, the team realizes they belong back in Washington, D.C.
Thursday: The Big Bang Theory: "The Robotic Manipulation" (04x01)
Penny finds herself along for the ride on Sheldon's first date ever; while Wolowitz finds a new use for a robotic arm.
Thursday: Grey's Anatomy: "With You I’m Born Again" (07x01)
In the season premiere, the hospital staff is trying to deal with physical and emotional trauma in the wake of the deadly rampage of a vengeful gunman. As Dr. Perkins (James Tupper), a trauma counselor, is brought in to help in the recovery and to assess each doctor’s readiness to return to work, Derek makes a spontaneous decision to resign as Chief and rushes back into surgery, taking everything a little too fast, and Cristina buries herself in her wedding planning.
Thursday: Private Practice: "Take Two" (04x01)
Pete and Violet anxiously prepare for their wedding day, but Cooper may have to intervene when emotions and fear of the future run high. Things have taken a surprise turn with Addison and Sam, and Naomi juggles the burden of caring for her daughter and newborn granddaughter and worries about Dink’s ability to parent. Despite disagreements and deeply-rooted conflicts, the doctors come together to mourn the loss of their friend, Dell.
Thursday: Fringe: "Olicia" (03x01)
After the extraordinary turn of events that shockingly left an imprisoned Olivia “over there,” she fights to find her way home. Meanwhile, Peter and Walter try to move on with their lives unknowingly alongside alternate Olivia.
