Dair... and my feelings about them

Gossip Girl is still on hiatus until January 24th, too bad I've gotten into a Gossip Girl frenzy over the last few weeks. Must have something to do with me buying the second season on DVD and completely floating on Chuck-Blair cloud but (once again) I'm obsessed with this show and can't wait for its premiere.
Although.... there's this:



The black cloud over my happy Chair bubble is called Dair (God, how I hate these names, but it's so much shorter). In the last episode, 4x11, Blair and Dan got together and took Juliet down. They did some slewing, some bickering, nothing out of the usual except maybe for their very last scene where Blair got left by Chuck (as they're on a break again) and it was hinted Blair and Dan were both in the city and all alone.
Now, the internet is on fire: Dair this, Dair that, they're gonna put them together, they're gonna have relationship, a fling, and so on. I'm not very happy about it and promos like the above one aren't helping. After some careful thinking, I think I could be okay with it, under certain circumstances. As Chuck is sleeping with that Raina character, Blair is allowed a fling, too. A fling, a one-night-stand, maybe with Dan. I'd be happier if she'd sleep with someone else, but if it has to be Dan (because let's face it, all other combinations have already been done), so be it. Please don't let Dan and Blair become anything special or let them have a relationship. Why?

• He's Serena's true love. Seriously, it's as if Serena would sleep with Chuck. Although Blair and Chuck are not a couple, this would mean mayhem
• Dan stands for everything Blair doesn't like. I know, Chuck slept with Vanessa, but come on, how OOC was that?
• They're bickering like siblings... There's almost no sexual attraction
• Of course that pairing would cause a scandal and Chuck would crush Dan, but do we really want that. After the whole Chuck slept with Jenny debacle?
• Oh, I forgot: CHUCK SLEPT WITH JENNY! Would Dan sleep with Chuck's girlfriend. On second thought, yeah he would. Revenge sex much?
• Chuck and Blair are meant for each other. Just mentioning it...

The main reason is, of course, that I don't want them to (not that it matters). If they do, I'll get over it. There's a lot of other stuff I got over as well: Chuck and that secret club, Eva, Chuck sleeping with Vanessa, Chuck sleeping with Jenny, Blair and that Marcus guy.... I'll get over it. And Chair will, too. ("I need your help" in unisono^^)

Is it January 24th yet?
