Of course, it's actually a pretty sad reason she's getting married: She's seeing Denny again (This time he was actually necessary, so I like him, but can he please stay away from now?) and Bailey and Derek find out the cancer is back, so they decide to persuade Alex, who is devastated (amazing performance by Justin Chambers, by they way) to get married.
It was a beautiful wedding and I'm so happy, that they are finally together for ever (or at least as long Izzie's alive, it doesn't look good, folks). Who would have thought that even one season ago? And they left Meredith and Derek at a good place, I think they maybe get married next week...
There's of course more in Seattle Grace than just the wedding: A lot of trauma. A few college kids have been in an accident on their graduation day and the trauma is bad. Owen and George (who is actually on screen!!!) are trying to safe all of them, but only one comes through. It was actually pretty sad and very dramatic; felt like a good old Grey's Anatomy episode.
What else... Callie and Arizona struggle but reunite, Owen and Christina are still apart and suffering but I think they're on a good way... I just love their relationship.
Oh, and the end was pretty amazing, too. Alex and Izzie, all bald, but still in love almost broke my heart, Derek and Meredith all happy. Just a very great episode, good way to celebrate the 100th episode mark and possibly one of the best episodes this season. Can't wait for the finale!
Best moment: The wedding: Izzie in her dress and Alex vows
Weirdest Moment: The dead girl with the open belly, her intestine hanging out. Gross and sad.
