Bones: "A Night at the Bones Museum" (05x05)

OMG. That was pretty much the closest they ever got to kissing. Moments away. Oh Angela, bad, bad timing!
Wow, what an episode! It was exciting, very funny, a little awkward at times but most of all just fantastic. I just found out that this is the last episode until November 5th or 12th, so at first I was kinda pissed, but now I'm mainly excited for it to return.
The case this week was a little bizarre, but also very cool. An ancient mummy was found on an electric fence with blood all over it. Brennan and the team then had to find out what happened. The woman who had loaned it from Egypt and was working on it was missing and turned up in the mummy's sarcophag. But why was she murdered? The team looked at the mummy and found out that there was something in his belly. It turned out that it was some sort of box which contained a ruby. Now they had a amotive and ebentually found out that it was the boss of the apartment as he had seen the ruby on the x-rays.
Meanwhile, Sweets convinced Brennan to let Daisy back on the team - on probation. It was so funny, when she tried to speak in a low voice and Sweets tried to coach her. Adorable scene: Daisy and Brennan get excited like little girls when they find ou the mummy is ancient. Daisy wasn't as annoying as usual in this episode and mainly funny. She had a fight with Sweets, but they made up and she's right: He always tries to fix people.
And on the Brennan-Booth-relationship front there was also news. Brennan decided to go out with Booth's boss's boss and actually had a good time, although she was interupted. The guy on the other hand was pretty smarmy and I didn't like him at all. Booth was jealous as hell, especially when Brennan (who jus thinks of him all the time ;) ) told the boss a personal story. Booth then confronted Brennan and told her that what was going on between them was theirs only. Cute, cute, cute. Brennan accepted that and in the last scene she uninvited her date because she wanted to go with Booth to the museum opening. And then they almost kissed, but were interupted, so she fixed his tie and he brushed her hair back. I almost died from cuteness.
All in all, I just loved this episode and can't wait for the new episodes to return. I guess the enxt one won't have that much Booth-Brennan, but a girl can still hope.
P.S.: Does anybody else think Emily Deschanel might be pregnant. Looks like it.

Best Moment: The egg scene and the almost kissing.
Weirdest Moment: Daisy and Brennan squeeing. Adorable and funny, but weird.

Favourite Quote:
Sweets: Dr. Saroyan, I'm having some serious problems with Daisy. Can I ask your advice?
Cam: No.
Sweets: No really.
Cam: Really. I have a 16-year-old and believe me, when it comes to dating advice I am batting a red hot zero.
Sweets: But, you've been through this like, a million times yourself.
Cam: Did you just call me old?
Sweets: Is that what it felt like?
Cam: Yeah

Current Mood: Excited
