House: "Instant Karma" (06x05)

It's still three years ago on House as Cameron, Chase and Foreman seem to beome a permanent fixture on House. And a patient thinks he has bad karma as everything goes well except for his family.

The guy's son was getting sicker and sicker and so he went to Princeton Plainsboro to get him treated. And he wanted House - and only House. Hence, the new composition of the team was a bit odd: Foreman was the boss, but House amde all the decision. He actually enjoyed this for some time, but then House realized that he'd always be the boss of the diagnostic department. Anyway, the son was getting sicker and sicker and the father believed that it was his fault (bad karma) and then sold his whole company when Hosue told him his son would die. Somehow House found another (right) diagnosis and the son got healthy again.

There were also two smaller storylines: Chase had to face the Morbidity and Mortality conference and is freaking out. Cameron worries about her husband (She called him Robert this week, still weird), but couldn't figure it out. Chase and Foreman discovered a mistake in their labs and freaked out. Eventually, they found a solution and that solution came from House. So, he knows about it and keeps quiet.

Furthermore, Thirteen wanted to go to Thailand and leave Foreman and her old job behind, but somehow her ticket got cancelled. She suspected Foreman, then Wilson (protecting House again) and eventually she got it right: It was House who tried to keep her around -for Foreman, for himself? Who knows. She eventually left anyway.

I liked this episode and the whole feel of the new season, but I somehow miss Cuddy. Hopefully she'll be back next week.

Best Moment: House's hunch while talking to Wilson. Classic House.
Weirdest Moment: The guy selling his whole business. Little bit unbelievable.
Favourite Quote:
House: "He loves power, I love puzzles."
Cuddy: "But you love power and puzzles."

Current Mood: Last week of vacation!
