What happened?
General:
After waking up from his coma, Booth was sure he was in love with Brennan, but Cam and Sweet talked him out of telling her. They continued to solve their cases, but it was more apparent than ever that he was in love with her and he admitted it to Gordon Gordon. Brennan also seemed to play with the idea of them, inviting him for Christmas and binding with his grandfather. Booth showed immense jealousy when Brennan went out with his boss and Brennan realized that "what is theirs should be just theirs". They almost kissed, and then grew even closer. In the 100th episode, Brennan and booth told Sweets how the first met and they almost slept with each other. After that, Booth gambled and told her to give them a chance, but Brennan couldn't. After that, things got awkward. Booth tried to move on, dating someone else, but they still worked together and the gravedigger case got Brennan thinking about her fear of losing people she loved and how solving muders was kinda horrible. She was thinking of quitting.
Meanwhile, Angela broke her vow of celibacy with Wendell and started sleeping with him. Hodgins was hurt, but stepped up when Angela had a pregnancy scare. Angela broke up with Wendell and during a stay in prison, they finally reconnected and got married.
Cam struggled with her new responsibilities as a mom and as always babysat her team. She then got a boyfriend of her own, a gynaecologist.
Sweets tried his best to write about the most complicated couple in the world. He triggered their reminiscing of their fisr case and realized his book was crap. He had a near-death experience and proposed to Daisy who said yes.
Finale:
For a full recap, read HERE. In short: Angela and Hodgins go to Paris, Booth goes back to the Army, Brennan goes on a dig. Daisy and Sweets break up. There'll be a one-year time jump.
Happiest incident:
Angela and Hodgins reunite and then get married (20).
Saddest incident:
Booth gets shot down by Brennan (16) after he tries to give them a chance. Both are leaving Washington and each other (22).
Most dramatic incident:
The grave-digger trual almost pushes all of them over the edge (21).
Weirdest incident:
Arastoo has been faking his accent and suddenly stops (4).
Most surprising incident:
Brennan and Booth actually kissed five years ago (16).
Funniest incident:
Hodgins vs. the Nunchucks (14)

Episodes and Characters:
Best episode:
The 100th episode (16)
Worst episode:
The finale, but only because of the ending
Best Case:
The blown-up Santa: Brennan undressing Booth, Nigel-Murray, a very moving end. (12)
Favourite Quote:
Booth: "When you talk to older couples who, you know, have been in love for 30 or 40 or 50 years, alright, it’s always the guy who says, ‘I knew.’ I knew. Right from the beginning…. I’m that guy. Bones, I’m that guy. I know."

Characters:
Favourite character this season:
Hodgins. (I'm your guy, do I have to say more?)
Most disliked character this season:
Daisy (very annoying and she broke it off with Sweets)
Best development:
Brennan has really evolved this season, laughing at Booth's jokes, lying for him, caring for everyone, sensing when sth is wrong, connecting with his grandfather, saying I love you to Hodgins etc.
Worst development:
Daisy turned from ditzy to plain annyoing and insensitive.

Romance and Couples:
Booth and Brennan:
At first: Growing even closer, then a kiss. After the 100th episode: strange. Now they'll spend a year apart. Two steps forward, one step back. Okay, there was progress this season. I'm content.
Angela and Hodgins:
From not together to married in a season. Very good progress.
Sweets and Daisy:
Together, engaged, separated. Bumpy road this season.

All in all:
General rating: 9/10
Did my prediction (Read HERE) come true?
Most of it did come true. Booth confessed his love, Angela and Hodgins are back together and even married. Cam struggled with her daughter and got a new love interest, but not Booth's brother. Sweets and Daisy have split. They didn't pick an intern. All in all, I was pretty accurate.
Summary:
This would have been the perfect season if it hadn't been for the finale. I loved most episodes, more so in retrospective and it was Booth-Brennan galore. Hodgins and Angela are also back together and Daisy wants to leave (fine by me) Cam got a boyfriend (about time) and all was well. Then came the finale and although it was great and dramatic, I don't like that it brings us to a 1 year time jump. Only flaw in a perfect season.
